Love is universal

Check this picture that appears on NatGeo news portal.

Caption as it appears on the site:
"Nam Choke, an eight-year-old male Asian elephant (left), and Boonrawd, a seven-year-old female, form a heart shape with their trunks at an elephant camp in Ayutthaya, Thailand, on February 12."

There is a line in the same article. "But do animals really love each other?". And goes on to claim that it is generally accepted that animals do share emotional bonds but it is impossible to prove.

This kind of ticked me off. God has created each living being in this world, each blessed with emotional faculties. All living beings do have emotions - love, hate, anger, resentment, affection, happiness etc. You do not have to probe science to see if they do. Just observe. Just immerse yourself in the pure bliss that they experience. Watch puppies play with each other, dolphins tease each other, flamingos gracefully necking each other... Thankfully they are not humans to begin reasoning whether to love or not. When you begin to reason in love, you begin to fail in love. Love should be unreasonable, unquestionable, limitless and universal. Period.

Someone once said "Somethings are best left unsaid". We can even say "Somethings are left best without a reason". Let the purity and sanctity remain unscathed.
