Sallu gets the 1 year jail term finally for killing 2 blackbucks in 1998. May their soul rest in peace now! BTW, Bollywood faces a Rs. 110 crore loss if Sallu is behind bars for a year. Oh so sad!! What can we do? The law is the law. And as you sow, so shall you reap. Right? {smirk!}

Nimbus, the media mogul, bagged the rights to telecast all matches, domestic or international, that would be played on Indian soil. Deal worth? Only USD 612 million! No wonder BCCI is the richest sports club in the world. & Cricket is the biggest money spinner in India. Ofcourse, I am not considering civil contracts and politics. ;-) I am only comparing the deals that are within the legal limits and are on paper!

Courtesy Maverick, got to know that M S Dhoni is ranked # 1 in the list of Best ODI Batsmen since 2004. In 30 innings that he has played, he has amassed 1056 runs at an average of 50.29 with 2 centuries and 5 fifties. The 2nd and 3rd are Michael Clarke and Inzy. Dravid is ranked 5th.

Hope Dhoni carries on in full swing . I didn't know "Sallu" was worth so much". Wondering what is Amru(Aamir) and Sharu's(Shahrukh) worth.

I don't know if Sallu is worth so much, but around 4 incomplete films which he is yet to finish may add up to a 110 crores. And the way he was dressed for the hearing? He has such an evil look, not gonna get any sympathy dressed like that. I'd rather he recieved this sentence for running over people.

if shahrukh were in sallu's position, then bollywood would probably face its worst year... and brand shahrukh would get its worst dent ever! if aamir were to face the same predicament, his brand value would drop... but nothing much would happen to bollywood. he does fewer films stretching over longer times...

ditto. sallu was not even dressed appropriately for a court showing. probably, later when he gets tried for running over people, he gets a few other years in prison.
Holy hell! I was just about to jump in and correct you that Dhoni made 72 off 46. Didnt realise the 5th game was Yday and Dhoni had slaughtered them yet again :)
