Parrot makes popat of nature!

Usually in nature, we see that the males of a species are brightly coloured. Explanation given is that they have an attractive clothing to attract the female of the species. Kinda a macho thing!

Not so with eclectus parrots! Eclectus Parrots mock at nature's colour scheme! The females are red-blue coloured, whereas the males are just plain green! :-)

There are always exceptions to the rule. It is only natural that nature too have its share.

PS: Popat in Hindi means Parrot. Doing a popat is a Hindi slang word, which means mocking at something or a buffoon. Used here in the context of "mockery".
