Am I damned in my own land?

Our honorable PM, Dr. Manmohan Singh, was frisked at Delhi Airport when he had gone to the airport, breaking the protocol, to receive the so called "most powerful" man in the world. Our PM being frisked at our airport on our land by foreign people to receive a foreign dignitary. How "right" is that? Could they not trust the PM, of all people? Would they agree if Bush was being frisked by our Indian Black Commandos at Washington DC? This was just an example of the American highhandedness and vanity.

Today, the blasted @#*&$%@$s overdid it by taking sniffer dogs to Rajghat. Because they wanted to ensure Bush's safety while he visited the place. Why the hell did the Indian Government allow it? Rajghat, samadhi of M K Gandhi, is a place that is treated like a temple. My own reservations about M K G's political acts not withstanding, he is still a great man in my view, with regard to his solo act, sacrifice and philosophic views. People are not allowed to wear slippers at Rajghat. How could dogs be permitted to go into Rajghat?

Why? Because US gives the most IT business to India? Because US is giving its nod for our security council seat? Because 1 US Dollar is ~45 Rupees? Because US is so important for our culture? Ludicrous!

Nothing can be so bad as much as an amputated spirit. And our government seems to be doing just that!
