Kadavulae!

(Title name in Thamizh. In English, it means "Oh, God!".)

Now if you are wondering why I am exclaiming like that - check this new piece. And then you might also add to my exclamation. :-)

Idolatry and hero worship is fine in the land of Rajanikanth (also referred to as Thalaivar) and Vijayakanth (also referred to as Captain). If you want to have a taste of hero worship, TN is the place to check it out. Huge cutouts, garlands, special archanais and huge fan clubs whose following is probably greater than 95% of the political parties in India!

But then - worshipping these political "ejemplo" (example in spanish) is beyond every reasonable explanation. How do these politicians tolerate these kind of acts? How can they allow it in first place? Is there not a limit to hero worship? Should not the politicians shun this kind of publicity and set an example on their own? If this land is going to be ruled by politicians who enjoy such idolatry, I doubt in their capacity to govern with credibility. As for the last word of the previous line, I have even less to comment, I do not need to add to it at all. It is appalling!

In the limited scope that we commoners have, other than voting rights that is, there is probably nothing that we can do to tackle these behemoth parties and fan clubs that do not act on rationale. Mass frenzy and undivided adulation are the only driving factors. If as much energy were to be capitalized into a positive force, our country would have gone past many other developed countries as on this date!

Oh God! Hmmm...
